About Me

cropped-26170037_10101394431956217_2593257774013810413_n.jpgHello, I’m Jane; a PR & content specialist with a knack for talking – and eating – too fast.

For the past decade I’ve worked for marketing and communications agencies in Cardiff and London for clients like Microsoft and The Welsh Government; in the press office with travel publisher Lonely Planet; and at Cardiff Metropolitan University where I managed the creation of an award-winning student blog. You can check out my full career history on Linked In.

In 2018, I decided say goodbye to a steady pay-cheque and start working for myself. Though a scary step, it gave me the freedom to do work that I love, with clients that I hand-pick. Now I use my expertise to create content and run PR and social campaigns for clients that range from chefs and restaurants, to pilates studios and production houses.

On occasion, I’m also called on as a safe pair of hands to help out at some of Cardiff’s most creative communications and media agencies, including Bengo Media, Golley Slater and Siml.Social.

Outside of the day-job, I write an award-winning food and lifestyle blog with a sustainable slant, called HungryCityHippy, and co-host a foodie podcast called Hank! Cardiff.
